The Gila County Community Action Program (CAP) has been in existence since 1980. Our service area includes all of Gila County. CAP receives funding from the Arizona Department of Economic Security, Pinal Gila Council for Senior Citizens, Arizona Department of Housing, and many other funding sources. The funding is geared towards helping residents become more self-sufficient. Our goal is to provide the best services through case management and emergency assistance, with the minimum of costs to Gila County Government.

The Gila County Community Action Program (CAP) extends you an invitation to become a volunteer CAP Advisory Board (Board) member. As a dedicated Board member, you shall serve as an advocate for people in need, provide input and receive information on the CAP programs. You shall be required to attend four (4) meetings a year in person, telephonically or by electronic media. A Board member shall be appointed for a term of four (4) years. If you are interested please fill out a CAP Advisory Board Member Application.
