2020 is another year of growth and change here at JCSA as we adapt to a new license agreement with Jefferson County and prepare for a new Shooting Facility Ordinance. JCSA continues to be the shooting facility of choice here in the Olympic Peninsula.

Please check the JCSA Calendar (click on the menu above) frequently to check for range availability, especially before driving to the range for any distance. The calendar is kept accurate and up-to-date showing times and places of classes or events you might be interested in attending, or ranges that might be reserved and not available for general use.

In response to COVID-19 the following policies are in effect at JCSA:

The range is OPEN TO MEMBERS ONLY – NO GUESTS

No groups or gathering of individuals

Maintain 6 feet social distancing

In order to protect our volunteers from exposure, the Gate House will not be staffed until further notice.

The gate will be securely locked at ALL times, except when actually in use.

Please disinfect common surfaces when using the range. Common surfaces include the gate & lock.

** The JCSA Executive Committee has determined that the following portions of the JCSA multi-field sports complex are individual fields for the purpose of determining the number of persons/field of the JCSA complex in compliance with WA State COVID regulations:

• 40-yard Pistol Range, Bay 1,
• 40-yard Pistol Range Bay 2,
• 40-yard Pistol Range Bay 3,
• 50-yard Multi-Purpose Range,
• 100-yard Rifle Range,
• 200/300-yard Rifle Range,
• Archery Range,
• Shotgun Trap Range.

No activities are permitted on any of these individual fields in excess of 5 persons/field.

From Port Townsend:

Go south on Sims Way (SR 20) to Jacob Miller Road. Turn right on Jacob Miller Road. Go about 4/10 mile, turn left onto Gun Club Road. Go appx. 100 yards to the end of the pavement and turn right into the gate.

From Hood Canal Bridge:

Dating County Near Port Townsend Wa 98368

Travel west on Hwy 104 to Beaver Valley Road (SR 19). Go right on SR 19 (sign says to Port Townsend) and go about 9 miles to the traffic light in Chimacum. Continue straight on SR 19 about 5 miles until it merges with SR 20 at the U-Haul. Go straight on SR 20 almost 2 miles to Jacob Miller Road. Go left on Jacob Miller Road. Go about 4/10 mile, turn left onto Gun Club Road. Go appx. 100 yards to the end of the pavement and turn right into the gate.

From Port Angeles and west Olympic Peninsula:

Travel east on Hwy 101 towards Discovery Bay. Turn left on SR 20, go about 7 miles to the junction of SR 19 and SR 20. Turn left and continue on SR 20 towards Port Townsend almost 2 miles to Jacob Miller Road. Go left on Jacob Miller Road. Go about 4/10 mile, turn left onto Gun Club Road. Go appx. 100 yards to the end of the pavement and turn right into the gate.
